Founder and Executive Chairman
Jean Lowrie-Chin
C.D, JP, B.A (Hons), MA, (UWI)
Jean Lowrie-Chin CD, JP, BA (Hons), MA, Founder and Executive Chairman, is widely regarded as one of the foremost communications professionals in the Caribbean. She launched PRO Communications in December 1978. Previously, she held posts in the media and advertising, and taught at Calabar High School. Mrs. Lowrie-Chin is a popular columnist with the Jamaica Observer and the author of ‘Souldance’, a collection of poetry and prose launched in 2009. Her book has received rave reviews from both the Gleaner and Observer literary writers, and has been well received locally and in the US. She created Flair Magazine for the Gleaner and was its first Editor. She is a graduate of Alpha ‘ Convent of Mercy’ Academy and the University of the West Indies, where she gained her BA (Hons), majoring in English, minoring in Spanish and French, and MA in Literatures in English. Jean was conferred by the Government of Jamaica in 2018 with the Order of Distinction – Commander Class, by the Government of Jamaica for Communications, Entrepreneurship, Volunteerism and Philanthropy.

Hubert Chin
Dip, Engineering (CAST)
Hubert Chin, Director – Administration/Systems, joined PROComm in January 1988. A graduate of College of Arts, Science and Technology (now The University of Technology, Jamaica). in Mechanical Engineering, he has held positions as Plant Engineer at Guinness Jamaica Limited and Plant Manager at McIntosh Furniture Company. A computer expert, Mr. Chin has completed several computer training courses and has designed , implemented and managed the efficient IT systems at PROComm over the years.

Anita Frances Chin

Anita Chin is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She also holds a diploma in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu in Miami. She has distinguished herself as a versatile team member in client account management and procurement.

Errol Howlett
ASc degree in Hospitality Management
Errol Howlett, Accountant, holds a Diploma in Management Studies from the Institute of Management Sciences and the ACCA Level 1. Mr. Howlett has past work experience with LASCO Group of companies, as an Accounts Clerk. One of the longest serving members of the PROComm team, he has distinguished himself in the areas of media planning, budgeting and media marketing relations. Mr Howlett also works on event planning, outside broadcasts, and sporting events. He is a council member of the Advertising Agencies Association of Jamaica (AAAJ). He is the treasurer and manager of the Allman/Woodford Football Club.

Noel Chin

Noel Chin, Management Trainee, has the ASc degree in Hospitality Management from Humber College, Toronto. Noel currently handles reception for PROComm, and data management for CCRP. He also serves as Property manager for our sister company PRODEV.

Vaughn Stafford Gray
Vaughn Stafford Gray is a marketing and communications professional with over 23 years of combined experience in media, communications, hospitality, consulting and academia. He’s adept at navigating diverse media platforms, including print, electronic, and social media. He is also a journalist and formerly a syndicated columnist. He was a correspondent for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Weekend World News Report, and his bylines have appeared in notable publications. He’s incredibly proud of writing the first (and currently only) article on the history of Jamaican Jerk housed in the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives. He holds a Diploma in Culinary Management and a Certificate in Magazine Publishing in addition to his Bachelor’s degree in English.

Nasheika Batson
Is a graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts where she acquired a BA in Arts Management and Humanities. Nasheika an accomplished Arts Manager with experiences versed in event planning, project coordination and management.
In addition, she also served as a media producer in the entertainment industry and has worked on major productions throughout her career.

Emma C. Lewis

Emma Lewis is a writer, independent blogger and social media activist, with wide experience in the field of communications. She served for 16 years as Media Coordinator and as Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Jamaica, administering small grants for the U.S. State Department, and collaborating on HIV/AIDS programmes. She was public affairs consultant for U.S. Government official visits in Guyana, Barbados and Trinidad. Prior to this Ms Lewis worked for eight years in publishing, helping establish a chain of retail bookstores in Jamaica. The recipient of the Farquharson Institute of Public Affairs (FIPA) Centennial Award for Outstanding Writing in 2018, she hosts a personal blog (Petchary). She also writes a weekly article for the Gleaner Online and is a contributor to Global Voices, an online community. She has conducted social media training for several Jamaican entities and has served on the boards of three non-governmental organizations. She is currently a Board Member and Vice President at FIPA, a Board Member at the Natural History Museum of Jamaica and a member of the Media Working Group for a regional NGO, BirdsCaribbean. She volunteers with Jamaica Environment Trust, Women’s Resource & Outreach Centre, BirdsCaribbean, Trench Town Reading Centre and National Integrity Action. She is a member of the Inter-American Development Bank Civil Society Consulting Group in Jamaica.
Born in London, Ms. Lewis moved to Jamaica in 1988, having worked in international banking in the City of London for eight years. She graduated from Oxford University with B.A. (Hons) and Master’s degrees in Oriental Studies (Japanese). She lives in Kingston with her husband.

Wyvolyn Gager
Ms. Gager has over 30 years of media experience and is known for her expertise in the field of journalism. Former Editor-in-chief of the Gleaner, Ms. Gager currently works as a media consultant, an executive media trainer, workshop facilitator and strategic communicator. She has designed and delivered highly effective media and presentation training to corporate executives, aimed at improving and fine tuning the communication skills of persons up to the CEO level, both in the private and public sector.
